Parking
Oversize Trucks can not be accommodated in the Sand and Surf parking lot. The newer models of oversize trucks continue to get bigger and bigger creating unsafe and hazardous conditions in our limited lot. Please review your options for these vehicles before your stay at Sand and Surf Resort.
SAND & SURF PARKING:
Sand & Surf provides one (1) parking space per unit. Additional vehicles and visitor vehicles cannot be parked on Sand & Surf property. Guest will receive a Parking Pass at Check-in
CARS WITHOUT A PASS MAY BE TOWED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE.
THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH SHORES OWNS THE PUBLIC PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET FROM SAND & SURF. THIS LOT IS AVAILABLE FOR PARKING FROM 7:00 AM TO 11:00 PM EACH DAY. NO OVER NIGHT PARKING IS PERMITTED (EXCEPT SEE BELOW). SAND & SURF PARKING WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
RV's, trailers, jet-skis, campers, motor homes, or boats are not permitted to be parked, serviced/repaired, washed or flushed out on Sand & Surf property at any time. If Sand & Surf has to call the towing company for an illegally parked car there will be a $100.00 charge applied to unit occupant’s credit card. Sand & Surf parking lot cannot accommodate oversized vehicles such as extended cab trucks or larger SUV's safely and owners of such vehicles may be asked to park in designated areas to prevent damage to their own and other vehicles. PARKING OPTIONS FOR OVERSIZED VEHICLES:
Because our parking lot is small and regular parking is difficult it is now a policy that oversized vehicles, such as extended cab trucks, SUV’s and vans will NOT be permitted to park in the east side lot. All vehicles over 17.5 feet long will be required to park in the five (5) spaces along A1A. Call ahead to reserve your space. Once they are full here are 3 options:
1.The City of DBS has a procedure to request permission to park overnight in the Andrinopoulos Park across from S&S. Use the link at bottom of this page to download form. The form must be filled out by the owner and sent to the City of DBS by the owner three weeks prior to your stay. Approval will be completed within two weeks of receipt. You may request a permit 183 days in advance (six months). Once the City of DBS approves it, contact the office and we will pick it up for you.
2.. Daytona Beach Drive In Church, 3140 S. Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118 offers parking for assorted vehicles in their lot. Current rates are $20.00 per day or $100.00 per week. Call for info: (386) 275-9342
3. OMNI PARKING LLC. offers trailer and vehicle parking 24/7 - 365 days a year. 700 S. Atlantic Ave. or 501 Grandview, Daytona Beach 32118. Daily rates are $25.00 plus a dollar per foot over 16 feet. Call in advance: Rick (813) 760-3462 or Ray (716) 909-7166
This policy has been voted and adopted by the Board of Directors, it is a policy that must be enforced. Remember all owners must be treated equally. No exceptions can be made to the above policy. Owners, guests or exchangers not parking an oversized vehicle in the designated area will be towed at the owners’ expense. Once a tow company has been called a towing charge will apply even if the owner moves the vehicle.
PARK SAFELY:
Several incidents involving vehicle damage have occurred, resulting in tickets and fines when police are called. Please park as safely as possible in the designated parking spaces. Larger vehicles must see office to obtain parking in front of building.
PARKING LOT:
Please keep bicycles, and motorcycles parked in authorized areas only.
Bike and motorcycles may not be stored in units or on walkways.
Please no use of parking lot as a playground (Insurance liability)
Please don't become a parking hazard in our lot.
